How to Incubate A Dream

A great way to have access to the Spirit Wold is to pay attention to our dreams. This is a technique for requesting dream guidance that often brings great results. There are essentially 3 steps to requesting a psychic dream:

Step 1 … set your intention. Decide what topic you would like additional guidance on in your life. Questions can be broad, like what city would I like to live in ? Or, more specific, like how can I tweak my diet for better health? Whatever your intention is, write it out as a clear statement. You can read this statement a few times before drifting off to sleep.

Step 2 …. Alter your usual sleep routine. If you normally fall asleep around midnight, try going to bed early. Or if you normally drift off early in front of the tv, try staying awake a bit later. A change to your normal pattern will signal your subconscious mind to send that this is serious and you mean business.

Step 3…. Record your dreams. Often your answer will come the first night, so keep a notebook next to the bed to record any dream you have. First thing in the morning the dream may not make any sense. It may not seem to contain your answer. Later on in the day things may become clearer. Either way, it’s important to write down whatever bits of your dream you remember. Sometimes the feeling of not remembering your dreams, is simply because within a few minutes of waking up it flees our mind. If you don’t get your answer right away, you can repeat for up to 7 nights. But generally, an answer will come the first night.

Bonus tip…. A wonderful herb for dreams … Mugwort! The herb (weed) that grows everywhere here on Long Island. Try placing a sprig of this herb with your intentional request.
