Why use a spell jar?
Container magic has long been used for both sustaining positive energy, like bringing in money or luck. As well as banishing negativity and containing it away from you.
Part of the magic of a spell jar is the beauty of the jar itself!
The colored glass and captivating art makes these jars a piece of your altar or home if you choose, and they become visual reminders of your intention and will!
What’s included?
Each spell jar comes with a traditionally blessed petition paper and a candle to seal your spell.
As well as instructions printed on the back, so you can perform your spell worry free!
These jars all have a layer of ritually blessed salt at the base, and a blend of carefully chosen herbs for your intention. Each jar is a container of intentionally chosen magic made to support your spiritual working.
How do I use a spell jar?
Simply write out your intention on the paper provided, perhaps including your name or the name of anyone else involved. Write out intention in the present tense.
“I am prosperous. I banish this negativity. I am protected” etc
If the intention is something you’re bringing in to your life, like money or love, fold/roll the paper towards you.
If the intention is something you’re banishing, like a negative person, fold/roll the paper away from you.
When the paper is small enough, drop it into the jar stating your magical goal, and put the cork back on.
Use a lighter at the bottom of your candle to slightly melt it and put it on the top of the bottle cork. Make sure it is secure, and light your candle to seal the top of the bottle, thus “sealing” your spell into existence.
optionally, use a lighter to drip candle wax all around the bottle cork and opening for a more meditative version of sealing. Or continue to burn candles on this cork every so often to add to the energy over time!
